I have 300+ games in my steam library so could use a different game to test if needed.

Some take longer for the PLAY button to re-enable, but same net effect. I've tried the first 3-4 proton versions in the compatibility dialog and no luck. Then the only thing in the log after is chdir /media/ME/NEWDISK/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/10 Minutes Till DawnĪnd nothing else after. , /client/, Realm 'steamglobal', weight was 1, source = 'baked in' , /client/, Realm 'steamglobal', weight was 100, source = 'update_hosts_cached.vdf'

Using the following download hosts for Public, Realm steamglobal Loading cached metrics from disk (/home/ME/.steam/debian-installation/package/steam_client_metrics.bin) If I do this when I launch steam via the terminal here is the startup: Startup - Steam Client launched with: '/home/ME/.steam/debian-installation/ubuntu12_32/steam' '-nominidumps' '-nobreakpad' 'steam://rungameid/1888430' ProtonDB says 10 minutes til Dawn should work: but when I run hit the PLAY button it shows the launching dialog, then it goes away then a second later the button says PLAY again. The games that are linux native work but I'm trying to get ANY game to run via Proton and having no luck.

My name is Set8, and I am the co-founder and coordination manager for the hacking group known as Wrath of Packets. Is this a misconfiguration I've made somewhere or just a feature? Took me a while to figure that one out, heh. This has the unfortunate side effect that apps like Lutris, which has a "Use discrete graphics" switch that when enabled sets DRI_PRIME=1, get the behaviour backwards on my system, causing games to run on the iGPU (typically resulting in absolutely ass performance) when they should run on the discrete graphics. $ DRI_PRIME=0 glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer" OpenGL renderer string: Mesa Intel(R) Graphics (ADL-S GT1) However, on my system it seems that DRI_PRIME=0 uses the discrete graphics and DRI_PRIME=1 uses the Intel graphics: $ DRI_PRIME=1 glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"

Basically all sources I've found seem to say that DRI_PRIME=1 is supposed to use the dedicated GPU on a hybrid graphics setting (which I suppose my desktop PC falls into, as I have a discrete GPU and haven't turned off the iGPU in my Intel processor).
